I was in need of a new headshot for my web page which for me is very important as that is how people identify with me. The one I had was sorely lacking. I had asked friends, got some names, checked out their sites but didn’t see the type of headshot that appealed to me. For literary months I searched the web checking out countless photographers. Not many specialize in headshots and what was left was either lacking or just plain no. Then to my delight the universe stepped in and I found Beaupix.I was amazed to see all the different headshots. I had stumbled upon what I feel was a godsend. Then it got even better when I started reading that I would be able to get professional makeup and hair done right at Beaupix prior to the shoot. No trying to coordinate with multiple people or having to run around was a definite plus for me. And getting the right makeup makes all the difference. The best part, Ryuji handled everything!
The shoot was amazing. Ryuji helped me every step of the way. From picking out outfits, to making sure my hair and makeup were just right and finally to taking the time to get the right shot. It’s not about just taking a picture with him; it’s about what you want to say. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words and Ryuji defiantly gets that.
He works with you to understand what it is you want to portray and takes the time to do it. He’s no diva. He’s professional, down to earth, and just a wonderful human being helping you through the process. It was more than I expected and it was a fabulous experience.
The finished product…excellent. I am delighted with my photos and can honestly say I will have more done by him in the future.

His goal to bring out YOUR personality in his photos, not his own, like many NYC photographers like to do. This guy has real talent.After the shoot, we selected the best shots together in the studio, which made the process very easy and fast. Most other photographers don’t give this option and you are stuck with hundreds of proof images and frustration. Not with Ryuji. In fact, reviewing images on computer screen while taking small breaks was very helpful.
I didn’t even need my photos retouched by him because he lights everything so well and puts so much effort into detail so that you look the best you can look when he takes your picture. But a very light retouching made my headshot look just perfect.
I’ll always have my headshots taken by Ryuji and I will always recommend him to anyone who asks.

Each headshot session is customized to your needs, so please fill out the inquiry form and then the photographer will call you to help you identify your needs, discuss your options, pricing, schedule, etc. in a brief phone call. You’ll also get all your questions answered and get good information to prepare for your photo session.
Flexible hours, short notice, rush orders
Beaupix Studio offers flexible hours (evenings, weekend), and you can go home with finished headshots in most cases. These options are great for busy people or last minute request from your agency. It is best to take your headshot when you are relaxed, with careful advance planning. We just understand that not everything is ideal in reality.
Pricing
Headshot price varies depending on the time and work required, including post-production work and in some cases planning. Through a brief telephone consultation, you’ll get an all-inclusive price estimate for most cases.
